KJCCC Women's Track & Field Athletes of the Week - Indoor Week 4

Indoor track and field season is underway and our week four of KJCCC Athletes of the Week honors have been awarded. 

WOMEN'S TRACK Athlete of the Week
Anita Afrifa (Colby) – She broke the school record in the 200-meters at the Washburn Open with a time of 24.51. She qualified for nationals in the 200 and the 60-meters (7.69).  

WOMEN'S FIELD Athlete of the Week
Jasmine Sakaguchi (Cloud County) – She took first place in the open section of the pole vault at the Washburn Open with a vault of 3.60 meters (11'09.75). The mark is an indoor personal record and is the second best mark in the NJCAA this year.
