KJCCC Women's Track & Field Athletes of the Week - Outdoor Week 1

Outodor track and field season is underway and our week one of KJCCC Athletes of the Week honors have been awarded. 

WOMEN'S TRACK Athlete of the Week
Chaniqua Tonge (Fort Scott) – She ran the #1 time in NJCAA in both the 100m and 200m at the Kirk Baptiste Spring Invitational posting times of 11.54 and 24.02. 

WOMEN'S FIELD Athlete of the Week
Joana Vakasobuduru (Neosho County) – She posted personal records in all three events she competed in at the Spires Team Challenge. She recorded a leap of 5.24m in the long jump, along with a time of 15.87 in the 100m hurdles, and a time of 26.64 in the 200m.
