KJCCC Women's Track & Field Athletes of the Week - Outdoor Week 2

Outdoor track and field season is underway and our week two of KJCCC Athletes of the Week honors have been awarded. 

WOMEN'S TRACK Athlete of the Week
Anita Afrifa (Colby) – She ran the #1 time in NJCAA in both the 100 and 200-meter runs at the 2024 Fort Hays State Spring Invite posting times of 11.49 and 23.37. 

WOMEN'S FIELD Athlete of the Week
Brooke Hawkins (Hutchinson) – She won the triple jump with a leap of 11.87 meters (38'11.5") at the Mark Phillips Invitational. She also qualified for nationals in the event and ranks fifth in the NJCAA.
