KJCCC Women's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week - Week 6
COLBY, Kan. – Personal best times and marks for Cloud County’s N Vanee Anchike and Fort Scott’s Aaliyah Linton have led to Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Women’s Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week honors for week six of the 2025 season.
N Vanee Anchike (Cloud County) – KJCCC Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week
Anchike competed this past weekend at the Washburn University Ichabod Invitational, running the 800 meters and winning the event with a personal-record time of 2:11.77. The time moves Anchike to number three on the NJCAA list this season and the 17th best time all-time on the NJCAA charts.
Aaliyah Linton (Fort Scott) – KJCCC Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
Linton recorded a personal-best mark in the triple jump this past weekend at the Pittsburg State Gorilla Classic with a mark of 11.20 meters (36 ft. - 9 in.). The mark currently ranks 14th in the NJCAA this season.
