-Proposal for Ted Schmitz to look into athletes wearing team uniform in Junior USATF Championships.
-Proposal for Lanes 1 and 2 to NOT be used when running off events at the Region 6 Indoor meet.
-Record metric only in Region 6 meets.
New Business
-Harry Kitchner, Cloud, expressed concern over International Athlete regulations and the status of Walk On Vs. Recruited Athletes. We all need to speak with our AD’s and express our concerns over these issues. I ask Harry to submit more of his ideas in writing as I have forgotten most of his proposal.
-A motion was made and passed for the Region VI Coaches Association ask Hutchinson to move the throws areas from their present positions to the field connected to the stadium in the North East corner. This would make for a more enjoyable and efficient meet for all coaches/athletes and spectators.
-If there are any additions or deletions needed please let me know. I was running the meeting and trying to take notes at the same time.
The meeting was eventually adjourned but I did not note the time.
Special THANKS to Mark Phillips and Cowley College for running off an efficient meet.
Special THANKS to Darin Schmitdz for ordering Coaches Association Awards and to Cloud for delivering the awards.
