2008 KJCCC Cross Country Women's Runners Of The Week

JCCC sophomore Temer Yimer of Riverside, Mo., raced to a third place finish overall at the Tabor Invitational, leading JCCC to a team title. Yimer finished with a time of 18:27.31, in the 5k race. That effort ranks as the sixth fastest performance all-time for that distance in school history. She also set a team record for the best time recorded by a JCCC runner in that event, breaking the previous best mark of 18:47.61, set last year by Christa Heideman.
