COLBY, Kan. - Colby Community College faced off against fifth-ranked Barton Community College on September 23rd, 2024. The Barton Cougars came out with a 3-0 victory over the Trojans, with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, and 25-14 Overall. The Trojans fall to 14-2 on the year and 4-1 in the KJCCC.
The Trojans put up a strong fight, with Karlotta Kattai leading the team with 12 kills and Celia Mbaya adding 8 kills. Amanda Caputi displayed excellent setting skills, contributing 30 assists throughout the match. Defensively, Camila Canedo stood out with 20 digs, while Chiara Binda and Amanda Caputi each recorded a block.
