RICHMOND, Va. – Eight runners from the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference have earned NJCAA Cross Country All-American honors as the conference was led by a National Runner-Up finish from Hutchinson’s Faith Jepchirchir and third-place finish from Butler’s Emmanuel Otim at the 2024 NJCAA Cross Country Championships in Richmond, Virginia.

CHARLOTTE, NC – After becoming the third Hutchinson women’s cross country runner in program history to win the NJCAA Region 6 Championship individual title, Blue Dragon Faith Jepchirchir has earned her third NJCAA Division 1 Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week award during the 2024 season by bringing home week 10 honors.

COLBY, Kan. – Led by three runners finishing in the top 10, Butler Community College edged out rival Hutchinson Community College to win the 2024 NJCAA Region 6 Division 1 Women’s Cross Country Championship team title at the Kansas Veterans home in Winfield, Kansas on Friday, October 25th.

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The United States Track and Field Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has released the week one NJCAA cross country top 25 polls with seven men’s teams and seven women’s teams from the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference either ranked or receiving votes in the second poll of the year.

COLBY, Kan. – A win and course record setting performance from Fort Hays Tech Northwest along with a fourth-place finish and the top-NJCAA female athlete in the Fort Hays State Tiger open for Garden City’s Meryeme Mai have led to Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Cross Country Runner of the Week honors for week three.

CHARLOTTE, NC – Finishing as the top NJCAA runner in their respective races at the 2024 Wichita State University JK Gold Classic, Cloud County Community College’s N Vanee Anchike and Colby Community College’s Sibonelo Khumalo have added NJCAA Division 1 Cross Country Runners of the Week to their awards list for week three of the NJCAA season.
