Connor Goedert opened the 2014 season with a bang, hitting .625 while slugging 1.438 over the Panthers 6 games last week. Goedert drove in 16 runs to help the Panthers to a 5-1 week that included a 3-1 series win over visiting Iowa Central. Goedert blasted 4 homeruns during the opening week with the biggest coming in the final game. With the Panthers and Tritons knotted in a 0-0 tie in the 5th inning Goedert crushed a 3-2 pitch for what proved to be the game winning homerun.  Weekly Statistics		 Justin Hersch

Freshman Justin Hersch made the most of his return to his home state of Colorado by firing a no-hitter in helping Barton Community College to a 10-0 victory over Western Nebraska Community College Sunday in La Junta, Colorado.  The left-hander from Fort Collins faced the minimum in getting five strikeouts and inducing a double-play to erase his lone walk on the day and improve to 2-0 on the season .  Weekly Statistics
