Track and Field traveled to Lubbock to compete at the Masked Rider Open hosted by Texas Tech

The broncbusters track and field team traveled to Lubbock, Texas to compete at the Masked Rider Open hosted by Texas Tech. 

Daniel Aboagye breaks the school record in the 1500m run with a personal best time of 3.55.54 while placing 5th. He shortly after, broke the school record in the 800 by 4.2 seconds with a personal best time of 1:50.97 and placing 3rd!

Nicolo Caccamo hits a personal best time of 55.27 in the 400m hurdles while placing 5th. 

Marc corpus runs a personal best in the 1500 with a time of 4:18.66 and a personal best time in the 800 with a time of 2:03.62!

Julian Francis had his collegiate debut in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:04.3. 

Dammian HighTower hit a personal best mark of 13.17m in the shot put. He also placed 8th in the hammer throw. 

Travis Hollins ran a personal best in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:01.61. 

Andreas Laursen ran a personal best time in the 800 with a time of 1:59.54. 

Eyona Mangumta placed 6th in both Hammer and Shot Put. 

Kyle Moore debuted in the 5,000m run with a time of 16:39.05. 

Rhet Punt got 3rd in the Hammer Throw with a mark of 58.45m. 

Carson Schmidt ran a personal best in the 1500m with a time of 4:27.53. 

The men's 4x100m Relay got 4th, members were  Izzacc Simon, Myron Miller, Camari Weaver and Nicolo Caccamo. 

The men's 4x400m relay got 4th, members were Daniel Aboagye, Nicolo Caccamo, Don Kasigwa and Myron Miller. 

Reid Harvey-McKean runs a personal best time in the 3,000m steeple chase with a time of 12:01.45, placing 4th. 

Beverlyne Kiptarus ran a personal best time in the 1500m with a time of 5:05.86. 

Meryeme Mai had a personal best time in the 800m with a time of 2:21.94. 

Joscelyn Monarrez ran a personal best of 5:45.04 in the 1500m run. 

Antonicia Moultrie ran a personal best in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:05.36! 

Mekhila Sanders hit the national qualifying mark and new school record in the open 200m with a time of 24:00 placing 4th! She also broke the 400m school record with a time of 56.63 placing 7th! 

Taia Velasco hit a personal best mark of 39.02 in hammer throw.

Priscilla Wemba ran a personal best time in the 400m run with a time of 1:05.24. 

The women's 4x400m relay got 3rd, members were, Mekhila Sanders, Reid Harvey-McKean, Priscilla Wemba and Antonicia Moultrie. 

The track and field team will be traveling to Wichita, Kansas to compete at the KT Woodman Classic hosted by Wichita State on Friday April 11th-12th.
