Garden City scores home win over Trinidad State

Garden City, KS-The Broncbusters thoroughly dominated on Saturday. 

Vitor Mendonca scored a goal and assisted on another as Garden City blanked Trinidad State, 4-0 at Broncbuster Stadium. 

Garden City, which improved to 6-4-3 overall, scored their first goal in the 20th minute when Yanis Aubaret boomed a ball into the box that Mendonca headed in.  

The Broncbusters extended the lead less than 15 minutes later when Trinidad State goalie Ermal Ahmetaj overplayed a ball in the box. Facundo Nunez took full advantage and rolled the ball into the net easily. 

In the second half, Mendonca found Shota Kawagoe in the 51st minute to make it 3-0 before Okuhle Legae scored in the final 60 seconds off an assist by Kenda Shalingi. 

The Broncbusters outshot the Trojans, 25-9, and Ilham Brenbraham recorded four saves.
