COLBY, Kan. - Colby Community College dropped a close one at home against Dodge City Community College 73-78. Colby started off with a 2-0 lead, and Dodge City fired back with some 3-pointers to move the lead to 29-38 at halftime. Colby was down by 15 with 7:26 left in the contest and fought back to be down 3 with 52.6 seconds left in the game. Colby couldn't pull off the comeback, losing by 5 points.
Leading scorers for the Trojans were Maxence Massadilla with 18 points and Raphael Nagau-Trouart with 16 points. Marko Malekinusic added 14, and D'Necco Rucker with 10.
The Trojans are back in action on Saturday at Hutchison Community College with tipoff at 7:30 p.m. CT.
