NPCC Knights endure Johnson County Invite
The NPCC Knights Volleyball Team faced multiple opponents Friday and Saturday, Sept. 27-28, during the Johnson County Invite in Overland Park, Kan. NPCC competed against Johnson County CC at 2 p.m. Friday in three sets 19-25, 17-25 and 12-25. The Knights then immediately played against Coffeyville CC, 12-25, 20-25 and 21-25.
NPCC opened Saturday at 9 a.m. against Fort Scott CC and pushed the match to four sets, 30-28, 23-25, 14-25 and 21-25. The Knights completed their final game of the tournament Saturday at 11 a.m. versus Iowa Western CC with 18-25, 17-25 and 20-25.
Knights fans can catch the next home game on Wednesday, Oct. 2 when the Knights will face McCook Community College at 7 p.m. during NPCC's Sophomore Night in the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium.
