#8 Trojans defeat Cloud 3-0 on Saturday

COLBY, Kan. - Cloud Community College hosted Colby Community Collage Sunday OCT 5th, and, was defeated by the Eight-ranked Trojans with final scores of 25-14, 25-16, and 25-11. With this Victory, the Trojans improve to 18-2 on the year and 6-1 in the KJCCC. Colby will be hosting next week as Conference play continues with a home game against Butler Community College on Wednesday, Oct 9, and at Barton Community College on Wednesday, October 16.

The Game saw Colby dominating the match with a strong offensive attack, with a 35-16 advantage in kills over Cloud Community College. Celia Mbaya led the Trojans with 9 kills, and Karlotta Kattai and Chiara Binda with 8 kills each. Amanda Caputi facilitated the offense with 29 assists, showcasing excellent teamwork on the court.

Defensively, Colby also outperformed Cloud County in blocks, with a 6-0 advantage. The Trojans' solid defense, combined with their efficient offense, led them to secure the victory.

The Trojans will compete in Colby Recreation Center on Wednesday 5:30 PM CT.
