The Warriors' five-game homestand to open the 2024 campaign wraps up Tuesday night as Indian Hills plays host to Dodge City.

STARTING FIVE

  • Indian Hills is off to a 3-1 start this year after winning back-to-back games on its home court over the weekend.
  • Eight different players have scored in double-figures through the team's first four games of the year.
  • The Warrior defense is averaging 18.8 forced turnovers/game, including a pair of 20+ forced turnover performances this year.
  • Dating back to the 1993-94 season, the Warriors are 34-5 vs. teams from the state of Kansas.
  • The Warriors are averaging over 400 fans at the Hellyer Center through the first four games of the year, the sixth-highest average in the NJCAA.

Dodge City has dropped its first three contests of the year to open the 2024-25 campaign.

  • The Conquistadors dropped their opening contest at home to McCook before dropping a pair of games by single-digits in Garden City, KS over the weekend.
  • Three players are averaging double-figures heading into Tuesday night's matchup, including Jayse Boatwright's team-high 14.0 PPG.
  • Dodge City boasts the 13th-most field goals made per game, averaging 21.7 makes from the charity stripe this year.
  • Dodge City is shooting just 23.7 percent (17-71) from three-point range on the year
  • The Conquistadors were picked to finish 6th in the preseason Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) Coaches Poll.
  • Indian Hills and Dodge City will meet for the fourth time in program history, and third since 2022:
    • Deceember 5, 2014 - Indian Hills 104, Dodge City 88
    • November 1, 2022 - Indian Hills 88, Dodge City 87
    • December 31, 2022 - Indian Hills 87, Dodge City 81

WHAT'S NEXT

The Warriors hit the road for the first time this season, and it will prove to be the Warriors' longest haul of the 2024-25 campaign. Indian Hills will travel to Twin Falls, ID for the Physician's Immediate Care/North Canyon Medical Invite hosted by the College of Southern Idaho. Indian Hills will take on Colorado Northwestern Community College on Friday night and No. 12 Southern Idaho on Saturday night.
