The State Fair Community College (SFCC) Lady Roadrunners soccer team fell 12-0 to third ranked Johnson County Community College on Monday night, September 2 in Overland Park, Kansas.
Johnson County found the back of the net eight times in the first half.
Freshman Grace Eidson got the start in goal for SFCC.
September 7 Mineral Area College at Park Hills
SFCC (0-5, 0-1 in Region 16) lost a 7-1 match to the Mineral Area College Lady Cardinals on Saturday, September 7 in Park Hills. The match was the Region 16 opener for the Lady Roadrunners.
Mineral Area got on the scoreboard first with about 42 minutes remaining in the opening half. The Lady Cardinals added another goal about 10 minutes later. Mineral Area added another goal to take a 3-0 lead into halftime. Mineral would add three more goals to make the score 6-0.
SFCC answered with a goal from sophomore Miah Bult off a free kick with about 28 minutes to go in the contest.
Mineral Area added one more goal to finish the game.
Eidson got the start in goal for SFCC.
