EL DORADO, Kan. - Colby Community College traveled to El Dorado and emerged victorious with a 3-0 win over Butler. The scores were 25-17, 25-15, 25-18. The No. 7th ranked Trojans controlled the match with their impressive serves as they tallied 11 aces for the match. Colby improved to 9-1 on the year and 2-0 in the KJCCC. On Wednesday the Trojans will travel to Pratt, Kansas to take on the Beavers at 6:30 PM CT.
Colby Community College dominated the match with a strong offensive performance, hitting at a .277 percentage. Karlotta Kattai led the team with 14 kills, while Viola Giangreco added 9 kills. Amanda Caputi contributed with 32 assists and 2 aces. Defensively, Camila Canedo led the team with 13 digs.
