Hounds Fall Short To KCKCC

The Fort Scott Community College men's basketball team came up short against Kansas City Kansas Community College by the score of 81-45.  The game was moved up from Wednesday to Tuesday to avoid the incoming storm system.  The loss drops the Hounds conference record to 3-4 on the year.

The Hounds had a difficult time getting anything to fall, shooting only 33% from the field compared to 45% from KCKCC.  The Blue Devils came up big down low, winning the rebound battle 45-22 and outscoring the Hounds 42-18 in the paint.

The Hounds were led offensively by Peter Simon who scored 13 points on 5/11 shooting.

The Hounds will be back in action this Saturday, continuing Jayhawk Conference play against the Highland Community College Scotties at Arnold Arena at 4pm.
