COLBY, KS– The Colby Trojans returned to play after the 23-day winter break against the Seward County Saints. The Trojans would take this game by a final score of 79-59, capped off by a 27-7 run to put the game away. With the win, the Trojans overall record on the year moves to 9-6 and 4-5 in conference play.
The Trojans had 20 assists on the night as a team and shot 11-19 from beyond the arc and 30-50 overall from the field.
Sophomore Maxence Massadilla led the charge for the Trojans with 22 points, five assists, and three rebounds on the night, going six for nine from beyond the arc. Sophomore Raphael Nagau-Trouart added 16 points, nine rebounds, and six assists on the night. Freshman Eternity Eguagie also added 18 points and 6 rebounds, and Freshman Nana Keutcha added 10 points on the night.
Colby will now travel to Dodge City to take on the Conquistadors on Wednesday at 7:30 pm.
