
The Fort Scott Community College Greyhounds took down Kansas City Kansas Community College 110-90, claiming a share of the Jayhawk Conference Title. The win improved the Hounds overall record to 12-5 and 5-3 within the conference. The Hounds share the title with Labette Community College and Johnson County Community College who also ended the season at 5-3 within conference play.
Kelyn Bolton led the Hounds with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Gavin Coone was a force from behind the arch, hitting 6 threes on his way to 20 points. Leading the Hounds in assists was Justus Mouton with 7. The fast-paced Hounds were too much for KCKCC right away as they led 55-45 at the half. It was the sixth time the Hounds eclipsed the 100-point mark on the season.
KCKCC's Deron McDaniel kept the Blue Devils in it, scoring 26 points on 9/17 shooting including 7/14 from behind the arch.
The Hounds will finish the home schedule for the year on Monday as they host Hesston Community College in the first round of the DII playoffs.
