JCCC freshman infielder Kim Smith led the No. 4 ranked
Lady Cavaliers to a 6-0 mark last week batting .611
(11-for-18) with three home runs and 13 RBI. In the
final three games of the week, Smith ripped a hit in
seven of her nine plate appearances, including two
homers and 10 RBI.

Cassie Sharon had a great week at the plate for the Lady
Hounds. She batted .558 with a .941 slugging percentage
and 11 RBI. Against Hesston she had 2 HRs and a double
along with 6 RBI while pitching a 7K, 4 hit shut out on
her way to a 10-0 victory.

Outfielder

Carthage, MO Courtney Borland had a strong week both in the
field and at the plate for Fort Scott. In the outfield
she had 16 PO�s and 1 assist while having no errors. At
the plate she hit .571 with a .885 slugging percentage
with 2 doubles, a triple, and 2 homeruns. She had 12 RBI
over the week for the Lady Hounds.

Brittny Washington had a solid week on the mound
for the Lady Hounds. She went 4-0 with one shutout in
five games pitched. Over 32 innings she gave up only 9
earned runs while striking out 28 batters.
