Sydney Stuever paced a potent Butler offensive attack as the Grizzlies started 4-0 in Jayhawk West play and went 6-0 overall for the week. She had eight hits in 20 at-bats (.400), with more than half of her hits going for extra bases (four doubles and a home run). She also had two games in which she drove in three runs. Stuever was at her best in an important conference doubleheader sweep at Seward, going 5-9 at the plate with a home run, three doubles, three stolen bases and three RBI against the Saints.

Kaley Pyles had a stellar week at the plate, going 9-for-13 with four home runs and 16 RBIs. She also scored nine runs and stole three bases as Highland went 6-0.

Maggie Ham won all three games she started this week, allowing just one run in 13 innings of work, while striking out 18. Ham pitched four innings against Seward County, allowing a run while striking out five in a 10-2 win. Her best performance of the week was a complete-game one-hitter against Labette in which she struck out eight Cardinals hitters in a 4-0 win. For the season, Ham is now 11-0 with a 1.57 ERA and 113 strikeouts in just 67 innings pitched for the Grizzlies.

Paige Crawford went 3-0 and allowed only two hits and one run in 13 innings as she helped Highland go unbeaten on the week. Crawford struck out 15 and walked four, while helping her cause at the plate by going 4-for-7 with five RBIs.
