KJCCC East Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week, Week 8

KJCCC East Player of the Week: Jase Woita – Kansas City Kansas Community College 
Not only did Jase Woita have a great week at the plate going 10-17 with 11 RBIs, two doubles, three home runs and seven runs. He also had a clean outing in the field not giving up a single error along with his 35 putouts. His standout game came in Game 1 against Allen on March 21st where he went 3-4 with two home runs and six RBIs. Woita continues to impress this season and is now batting .405, second highest on the Blue Devil team. 

KJCCC East Pitcher of the Week: Cooper Hayden – Neosho County Community College
Neosho County redshirt freshman, Cooper Hayden threw a complete game shutout against Coffeyville, giving up 5 hits paired with 2 strikeouts to get his 2nd win of the season and help the Panthers close the weekend series.
