CHARLOTTE, NC – After leading Garden City to a 21-10 road win at Butler and earning Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Football Offensive Player of the Week, Garden City running back Dejuan Lacy has been named NJCAA Division 1 Football Offensive Player of the Week.

Dejuan Lacy helped the number five ranked Broncbusters pick up a 21 - 10 road win over number 11 Butler in El Dorado on Saturday evening. Lacy had one rushing touchdown, one passing touchdown, 29 Carries for 115 yards, and 2 Catches for 58 yards.
Lacy is the third player from the KJCCC to earn NJCAA Division 1 Football Offensive Player of the Week, joining Hutchinson’s Samari Collier (week four) and Coffeyville’s Brec Long (week eight) as the conference has had a player earn NJCAA Football Offensive Player of the Week in back-to-back weeks.
