KJCCC Men's Basketball Players of the Week - Week 2
COLBY, Kan. – Big offensive outings from players currently in the top two of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference men’s basketball in scoring average Antonio Chol of Garden City and BJ Stewart of Kansas City Kansas Community College have been named the KJCCC Men’s Basketball Players of the Week for week 2 of the 2024-25 season.
COLBY, Kan. – Big offensive outings from players currently in the top two of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference men’s basketball in scoring average Antonio Chol of Garden City and BJ Stewart of Kansas City Kansas Community College have been named the KJCCC Men’s Basketball Players of the Week for week 2 of the 2024-25 season.
Antonio Chol – Garden City (KJCCC Division 1 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week)
Antonio Chol helped the Broncbusters go 2-1 on the week averaging 27.3 points per game and hitting 14-15 from the free throw line as Garden City earned wins over Northern Oklahoma-Tonkawa and North Platte Community College. In the game against NPCC, Chol played 48 of a possible 50 minutes in a 2 OT thriller, scoring 35 points and grabbing 15 rebounds as the sophomore had a pair of double-doubles.
BJ Stewart – KCKCC (KJCCC Division 2 Men’s Basketball Player of the Week)
BJ Stewart has led the team in scoring in every game that he has played in. This past weekend, BJ shot 50 percent from the floor, averaging 19.5 points per game along with 6.5 steals per game as the Blue Devils picked up a win over Metropolitan CC and a loss to nationally ranked North Central Missouri College.
