2025 KJCCC D1 Women's Soccer Players of the Week - Week 8
COLBY, Kan. – Leading Butler Community College to an unbeaten week with a road win at Barton and a tie against Cowley, Grizzly players Naho Yamamura and Millie Robshaw-Charlesworth have each earned Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division 1 Women’s Soccer Player of the Week awards for week eight.
Naho Yamamura (Butler) – KJCCC D1 Women’s Soccer Player of the Week
Yamamura helped Butler pick up a 5-1 road win at Barton, along with a 2-2 tie against number seven-ranked and league-leading Cowley to move into third place in the KJCCC standings. Against the Cougars, Yamamura had a six-point outing with two goals and two assists before assisting on Butler's second goal of the game against Cowley that put the Grizzlies up 2-1 before a late goal by the Tigers forced a tie.
Millie Robshaw-Charlesworth (Butler) – KJCCC D1 Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week
Butler goalkeeper Millie Robshaw-Charlesworth helped the Grizzlies go 1-0-1 last week with a 5-1 win at Barton before playing to a 2-2 draw against number seven-ranked and league-leading Cowley College. Robshaw-Charlesworth had five saves to start the week in a road victory at Barton before making six saves against Cowley to finish the week with 11 total saves.
