KJCCC Kansas MTXE Men's Basketball Athletes of the Week, Week 2, 2017

Kawanise Wilkins put up double-double numbers this past week helping Barton to eclipse the century mark twice including capturing Saturday's conference opener improving to 5-0 on the season.  Shooting 68% and averaging thirty minutes in the two games, the Chicago freshman recorded his first collegiate double-double in twenty-five minutes of action with a twenty-one point and ten rebound effort before powering Barton with a career high effort of twenty-six points and twelve boards for his second consecutive double-double performance.

Labette sophomore guard Frank Royles averaged 16.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and shot 58 percent from the field in the Cardinals two games  last week.
