KJCCC Kansas MTXE Men's Basketball Athletes of the Week, Week 7, 2018

Sophomore J.J. Rhymes, the Jayhawk Conference's leading scorer, averaged 28 points, 4.5 rebounds and 6.0 assists in a 1-1 week for the No. 6 Hutchinson Blue Dragons. Against Allen, Rhymes broke 30 points in a game for the third time in his career in leading Hutch to a 103-75 win Allen. Against Cowley, Rhymes scored 25 points, but dished out a career-high eight assists in an eight-point loss to the Tigers at Ark City.
