KJCCC Kansas MTXE Men's Basketball Athletes of the Week, Week 11, 2017-18

Coffeyville Community College wins their 7^th straight game.  Last week, they were lead by freshman Marvin Johnson.  The 6'5 wing from Oklahoma shot over 51 % from the field, averaging 26 points and 8 rebounds in wins over Cloud and Pratt. He also combined for 6 assists, 4 steals, and 3 blocks in the 2 games.

Johnson County Community College freshman forward Xavier Womack averaged a double-double in two wins last week, and helped the Cavaliers extend their win streak to eight straight and take over sole possession of first place in the conference. Womack also shot 52 percent from the field and 73 percent at the free throw line. He opened the week with a 19 points and 11 rebounds in a 109-77 win at Labette, and capped the with a game-high 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead JCCC to a 79-68 home win over Fort Scott. He also blocked a season-high four shots.
