KJCCC Kansas MTXE Men's Basketball Athletes of the Week, Week 13, 2017-18 

Russell Smith pulled down a monster double-double in an 88-84 Butler win over Pratt on Saturday with 23 points and 20 rebounds, as well as a steal and a block. On Wednesday, against Cloud, he scored 14 points with four rebounds and two assists. He averaged a double-double for the week with 18.5 points and 12 rebounds per game as Butler went 2-0. 

Johnson County Community College sophomore guard Anthony Lupardus averaged 16.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists while helping the Cavaliers extend their winning streak to 12 straight games, and secure the KJCCC D-II conference championship. Lupardus also shot 50 percent from 3-point range for the week.
