Allen sophomore guard Malik Hardmon led the Red Devils to a 2-0 start in KJCCC play. Against Pratt he did not put up his normal numbers, but he was very good on the defense end against Pratt. Against Garden City Hardmon had a huge game with 35 points, 13 rebounds and five blocked shots. Hardmon was very efficient this week as he shot 59 percent from the floor, and also went a perfect 11 of 11 from the free-throw line. For the week he averaged 22 points, nine rebounds and 3.5 blocked shots.
