Dodge City took down a pair of ranked KJCCC foes and took over sole possession of first place in the KJCCC in the process beating #19 Butler 74-63 at home and then going on the road to top #4 Hutchinson 102-96; the wins stretched the Conquistadors win streak to nine-straight and moved them to 11-1 on the season and 5-0 in KJCCC. One of the big contributors for the Conquistadors in the wins was BJ Freeman. Freeman paced the Conqs against Butler finishing with 23 points on 10-12 shooting, netting 19 of the 23 points in the second half to allow the Conqs to take control of the game. He added eight rebounds, three assists, two steals, and two blocks against the Grizzles. On the road against Hutchinson Freeman filled the stat sheet nicely recording 16 points while adding five rebounds, five assists, and four blocks. 

On the season Freeman is averaging 12.1 points per game on 42.7% shooting while averaging 3.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.3 steals per game.
