Garden City Community College freshman guard Tone Hunter had arguably his best three-game stretch of the season to lead the Broncbusters to a 3-0 week. Hunter averaged 25.6 points per game in wins over Independence and back-to-back games against Colby. Hunter scored 30 points in a 106-99 victory over Independence. just 48 hours later, he spearheaded an impossible comeback, scoring 27 to help Garden City erase a 12-point deficit with 90 seconds to go against Colby.  

This is Hunter's second weekly league honor. Hunter, Hutchinson's Angelo Stuart and Barton's Cougar Downing are the only multi-winners in the KJCCC this season.
