KJCCC D-I Men's Basketball Player of the Week - Week 11
Dodge City went on the road in the KJCCC and staked their claim to the top spot in the Jayhawk with a pair of wins over top-flight competition beating No. 18 Garden City, ending the Broncbusters nine-game win streak. and then handing Butler its first home loss of the season for the 20th win of the season. Themus Fulks has been the floor general for the Conqs all season and in Conference play has consistently played 35-40 minutes per game.
Last week Fulks notched 24 points in the win over Garden City shooting 11 of 15 and added three rebounds, four assists and two steals in 39 minutes. He followed that up with 25 points on 8 of 13 shooting and 8-9 from the free-throw line against Butler adding a career-high nine rebounds, seven assists, and two steals.
For the season, Fulks is averaging 16.3 points per game on 54.2 percent shooting, while adding 3.9 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.5 steals per game. He ranks 19th in the nation in assists with 127, which leads the KJCCC by 34 and his 5.3 assists per game leads the KJCCC.
