KJCCC D-II Men’s Basketball Player of the Week – Week 13
Johnson County freshman guard Tymer Jackson averaged 19.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.0 steals while leading the fifth-ranked Cavaliers to three victories last week. In JCCC's 71-70 win over Highland, Jackson poured in 29 points, but none were bigger than is his final three. Jackson drained a long-range 3-point shot at the buzzer to give the Cavaliers a one-point victory. He followed with 22 in a 74-61 win at Neosho. Jackson currently leads the D-II Kansas Jayhawk Conference in scoring at 18.4 points per game. He is also fourth in made 3-point baskets with 52.
