KJCCC DIV. I MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK - WEEK 12
Isaiah Williams, the Butler Grizzlies' sophomore forward from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, was the key piece in the Grizzlies' two big wins this past week and was named the KJCCC Division I Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
Against 13th-ranked Coffeyville last Wednesday, Williams led the Grizzlies in scoring with 16 points while also pulling down 11 rebounds for his first double-double of the week and third of the season. On the road against Hutchinson on Saturday, Williams exploded for 24 points, tying his season high for points in a single game, doing so on an efficient 8-of-13 shooting mark and going 2 of 3 from behind the arc. Williams also pulled in another 11 rebounds in the game for his second double-double of the week and his fourth on the season.
Williams is the leading scorer and rebounder this season for the Grizzlies, who have now won 9 of their last 10 games.
