For the third-straight week, Barton sophomroe guard Lajae Jones was named the Jayhawk Conference Division I Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

It was another double-double week for Jones, as the sophomore helped the eighth-ranked Cougars to a perfect 2-0 week averaging 10.5 points on 60 percent, shooting from the field with 11 rebounds in 30.5 minutes of action. Jones opened his week posting his third straight double-double going 5 of 7 from the field finishing with 11 points and securing 12 boards in 28 minutes. The sophomore ended his week posting his fourth straight double-double of the season with 10 points on 50 percent shooting while securing 10 rebounds in helping the Cougars notch their first victory inside the Greenhouse since 2018.
