Jeff Nwankwo had a big week for the No. 9-ranked Cowley Tigers and was named the KJCCC Division I Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

In a battle of Top 25 teams against Hutchinson, Nwankwo had 33 points in a thriller agains the Dragons in an 88-86 loss. He followed that performance up with 30 points in the road win at Colby.  

For the week, Nwankwo averaged 31.5 ppg, 6.0 rebounds per game, 4.0 steals per game and 2.0 blocks per game. He did all this while shooting 61 percent from the field and 64 percent from 3-point-range.
