CHARLOTTE, NC – After posting back-to-back career-high outings while helping Coffeyville to a 2-0 week last week, Coffeyville Community College sophomore guard Brian Griffith has added NJCAA Division 1 Men's Basketball Player of the Week honors for Week 5 of the 2024-25 season.

Red Raven sophomore guard Brian Griffith had an outstanding holiday week on the basketball court. On Tuesday, Griffith scored a career-high 29 points to help Coffeyville come back from a 19-point deficit to defeat Independence 98-94. Then on Friday, Griffith went on to another career-high as he scored 30 points as the Ravens defeated Arkansas State-Newport 69-53. For the week, Griffith shot 52 percent (20-38) from the field and 46 percent (6-13) from beyond the arc as well averaging 3.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game in helping the Ravens to two victories.
