Sophomore, Taushelle Rushing led the undefeated and No. 7 ranked Seward County Lady Saints (16-0, 2-0) to their first two victories of the conference season last week. Against Dodge City, Rushing scored 20 points with four 3-pointers and at home against Hutchinson, Rushing posted 12 points with nine steals.

Rushing currently leads the nation in steals per game (5.9) while posting 88 steals in 15 games played. Rushing has totaled a career-high nine steals three different games this year. In addition, Rushing currently ranks 20th in the Region VI in scoring (14.0 ppg.).
