Tessa Morrow moved into HCC's career Top 10 scoring list with her 25-point effort against Colby on Saturday night. She is 10th with 755 career points. Morrow is already No. 4 on HCC's career 3-point list with 126 made 3-point goals. For the season Morrow has six 20-point games. She had a career-high seven assists against Pratt.

ICC freshman forward Jolene Tamboue recorded two double doubles last week vs Cowley County and Labette. She had 18 points, 13 rebounds in defeat vs Cowley and 12 points, 13 rebounds in a win over Labette. In these two games Jolene also went 14 for 16 from the free throw line.

JCCC sophomore guard Jacky Smith had an excellent week directing the JCCC offense. On Wednesday night at Kansas City Kansas, Smith scored 13 points and dished out six assists while committing just one turnover, helping JCCC to a 77-58 victory. On Saturday afternoon, Smith again had a 13-point, six-assist game, along with no turnovers in the Lady Cavaliers 69-49 win over Neosho County. Smith currently ranks 10th in NJCAA D-II with an assist per game mark of 6.9.

Sophomore, Chelsea Blackshear made a career-high 11 free-throws in the No. 3 Lady Saints win at Barton County C.C. Blackshear ranks third in the Region VI in assists (4.8 apg.), fifth in assist/turnover ratio (+ 2.56), ninth in three-point field goal percentage (.443), 11th in 3-point field goals made (1.94/game), 12th in steals (2.6 spg.). Blackshear has posted five or more assists in 10 games this season.
