Mikenna Greathouse of Kansas City, Kansas, Community College was the first winner of the Verizon/KJCCC women's basketball player of the week. Greathouse posted three consecutive double-doubles in three Kansas City victories last weekend over the St. Mary's Junior Varsity, Southeast Nebraska and Penn Valley. Greathouse averaged 18.7 points and 15.3 rebounds over the week, shooting 58 percent with highs of 23 points against Southeast Nebraska and 19 rebounds against Penn Valley.
