Freshman Jackie Patterson had a solid weekend to lead the 17th-ranked Lady Dragons to two victories over the weekend. Patterson shot 72 percent from the field and averaged 14 points in easy victories over the Bethany College junior Varsity and Moberly Area Community College.

Taylor Bird nearly recorded a triple-double in leading JCCC to a 95-35 home victor over Southwestern last week.  Bird was a perfect 7-of-7 from the field, and added a free throw to finish with 15 points.  She also pulled down seven rebounds and dished out eight assists.  On the season, Bird is averaging 11.0 points, 9.3 rebounds and 7.3 assists per game.
