Freshman point-guard Alysse Barlow showed all part of her game in
two Lady Dragon victories over the weekend. On Friday against an
athletic Northwest-Shoals team, Barlow scored a career-high 25
points on 9 of 15 shooting. On Saturday, Barlow showed more of her
floor game, scoring 11 points but with four rebounds, five assists
and six steals.

Tracie was the lone bright spot for the Scotties against Cowley
scoring 14 points on Monday night but on Wednesday night she was
huge for HCC. Against Allen County Weege poured in 26 points,
grabbed 4 boards, and dished out 2 assists. Maybe most
impressively she also defended Allen’s leading scorer and
held her to just 6 points. Against two division one opponents
Tracie averaged 20 ppg, while shooting 52% from the floor and an
impressive 40% from behind the arc with 8 total threes.
