Jones finished off the regular season leading the Broncbusters to their first win at Seward County since 1992 when she posted her 8th consecutive double double. She then led Garden to a blowout win in the first round of the Region VI tournament over NW Kansas Tech. She narrowly missed another double double coming up just one rebound shy.

Kaheem Ransom became the 10th member of the esteemed 1,000 point club at Seward County this week, scoring 59 points in three games, leading Seward to a 3-0 record.  On Tuesday against Garden City, the sophomore guard scored 27 points and had 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals to lead Seward to a victory over the Busters.  On Wednesday, in a grueling matchup against #5 Hutchinson, Ransom helped the Saints to a win over the Dragons to clinch the Jayhawk West Conference Championship.  On Saturday in the first round of the Region VI Tournament, Ransom scored 27 points, hitting two free throws with under 10 seconds left to give him his 999th and 1000th career points, making him one of just 10 players in school history to accomplish the feet and just one of  2 in-state players to reach 1,000 points.  On the week he averaged 19.7 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2.3 steals per game.
