Jamie PatrickHutchinson Community College 5'11" Freshman Hutchinson, KS Freshman Jamie Patrick posted two great stat lines in two Hutchinson victories over Jayhawk East rival Independence and Iowa Lakes this past weekend. In HCC’s 75-54 victory over Independence, Patrick posted her first career double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds to go with three assists and three steals. One night later, Patrick had 14 points and four boards in a decisive victory over Iowa Lakes. For the week, Patrick averaged 15.0 points per game, shooting 66.7 percent overall, 4 of 7 from 3-point range and 5 of 6 from the foul line. She averaged 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.0 steals. A.J. SpencerHutchinson Community College 6'3" 200 Sophomore Shawnee, KS Sophomore guard A.J. Spencer stepped up when the Blue Dragons needed him the most this weekend. Playing a couple of guards short, Spencer had back-to-back 20-point games and nearly two double-doubles as HCC defeated Frank Phillips College and Central Community College to move to 10-0 on the season. For the week, Spencer averaged 25.5 points and 10 rebounds per game, shooting 62.2 percent from the floor. Against Frank Phillips, Spencer had his first career double-double with a career-high 27 points on 12 of 19 shooting and 11 rebounds. He added three assists and played a good defensive game. Spencer followed that game with a 24-point, nine-rebounds, three-assist, three-steal game against Central. Weekly Statistics |
